The Lovers

 

Two Hearts so tenderly opened and exposed to love

Quietly beat beneath the heavens above

As secret dreams dance throughout the air

While the mysterious night conceals the loving pair

Whose innocence and love is so pure

That it allows there caring arms hold each other so passionately near

For the echoing nightingales and harmonizing winds surround

As they both realize what they have just found

For precious love is a diamond oh so rare

Beautifully eternal and radiantly fare

Hidden in a sea of sand

Found by patient yielding hands

That guild tender kiss which interlock lovers’ hearts

For not even death can keep them a part.
